Arley to Bewdley Canoe Hire
4 miles - 2 hour experience.
"Paddle 'n' Hike"
Explore the Severn Valley on an unforgettable self-guided canoe hire adventure! Paddle downstream from the picturesque village of Arley to the charming town of Bewdley on one of the most scenic stretches of the River Severn. This 4 mile route has a great mixture of beautiful wooded hillside views, the sights and sounds of the Severn Valley Railway and the gentle yet fun rapids by Trimpley.
This is one of our most popular routes and is suitable for all experience levels, its an ideal taster length session to get a feel for canoeing on the River Severn or to just spend an afternoon floating through the beautiful Severn Valley. There's a great mixture of fun faster flowing sections and beautiful peaceful sections to enjoy as the Severn valley's Heritage trains chug on by. You can either choose to hike the 4 mile Severn Valley way from Bewdley to Arley and canoe back after a pub lunch or take the heritage Severn valley railway which operates steam trains at the weekends.
